Our Core Beliefs
The Word of God in its entirety is the basis and the foundation of this church and is summarized in the following: Below are our core beliefs that we seek to both teach and live out.headline

 The Church

We believe the local church is designed to function according to the pattern of the New Testament.

Expanded:
We believe this church must be conceived and structured and function according to the doctrine of the New Testament, in the pattern of churches described in the New Testament, and with respect to those beliefs and practices distinctive to Baptist churches through history. We believe a Baptist church to be local, visible expression of the church of Jesus Christ and the Bible to be the only and sufficient authority for belief and practice. The local church is sovereign in and of itself and independent of all external authority, including both ecclesiastical and political authority, but with the right to associate and disassociate as it pleases. Believers enjoy liberty of their individual souls and are their own priests with direct access to God and responsible to Christ as Lord. Members are those who have accepted Christ as personal Savior, publicly professed their faith by believer's immersion, and agree to the beliefs and values of the church. Local churches are responsible for the administration of but two ordinances: believer's immersion (baptism) and communion. Leadership of a church is exercised from within its membership, including both pastors and lay leaders.
